Glenn Seeley 1948-2021 Glenn Seeley, 72, died peacefully, Tuesday April 27, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Private family services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday morning, May 1, 2021 at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa. A public visitation was held Friday, April 30 from 4-7 p.m. Pastor Nathen Loher officiated at the services. Interment was held in the Wilcox Cemetery, rural Anamosa. Glenn Albert Seeley was born, Oct. 24, 1948 at Anamosa. He was the son of Glenn and Ruth Boots, Seeley. Glenn graduated from the Anamosa Community Schools with the class of 1968. Glenn married Linda Stahr July 31, 1971 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Anamosa. He started his life long career as a welder at Century Engineering, Cedar Rapids and then Star Manufacturing, Monticello. He retired from Engineered Welding, Anamosa in 2011. Glenn was an avid deer hunter. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening and wood working. Surviving is his wife, Linda; four children: Tina (Josh) Thies, Anamosa, Tracy (David) Heinrich, Delmar, Trisha (Toby) Starkweather, Williamsburg, Troy Seeley, Galesburg, Ill.; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his siblings: Trudy (Carl) Cunningham, Hannibal, Mo., Darcie (Cindy) Seeley, Anamosa, Chris Seeley, Hannibal, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Les a sister, Annette and two infant brothers, Dorian and Chuckie.
