Story walks are coming to a few of Mount Vernon’s parks and trails throughout the rest of the year.

A story walk placard, with the creek along the Nature Park trail that leads to Underhill Skate Park in the background. The story walk will be up for the majority of summer, with other story walks planned for this fall in other parks and trail systems.

Cole Library director Cathy Boggs and library assistant Jen Stanerson presented the idea at the May 15 city council meeting.
