Troy Mills Christian Church hosted an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 16 with over 1,500 eggs and dozens of families in attendance. Pastor Kris McGarvey explained the different regions for various age groups and led the room in prayer before letting the kids loose! The older age groups scattered across the grass near the ball diamond while the youngest kids searched right outside the church.

Like Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket, seven eggs held numbered slips of paper for seven lucky egg hunters to choose one of the big prizes the church provided, from giant chocolate bunnies to loaded Easter baskets.

This is the first year Troy Mills Christian Church has held their Easter egg hunt on Saturday instead of Sunday morning. Stay tuned for next year’s schedule!
