The 15th Annual Lincoln Highway Arts Festival will return to the community on Saturday, Sept. 18. The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in uptown Mount Vernon. More than 50 artists and vendors from across the Midwest are expected.

One person was injured in a single-vehicle rollover Saturday, Aug. 28. Haley Turner, 19, of Fairfax was injured in the crash. Turner was wearing a seatbelt and transported to St. Luke’s Hospital by Lisbon-Mount Vernon Ambulance Service for minor injuries.
