Thomas John Netolicky, 60, of Mount Vernon, died at home Monday, Aug. 16, 2021. Memorial Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon, by Reverend Kerri Sandusky. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Lisbon.
Survivors include his children, Robert Netolicky and Erin Netolicky; and sisters, Pam Netolicky and Terry (Hobert) Flory; and several nieces and nephews.
Tom was born July 26, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Robert and Jean (Ferguson) Netolicky. He graduated from Lisbon High School in 1979 and the University of Northern Iowa in 1983, with a degree in history. Tom worked as a brewer all over the world, including Brazil and Ukraine, and lastly at Toppling Goliath in Decorah. He loved reading books, especially fiction, archaeology, and genealogy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mike.
