On Feb. 2, the U.S. House of Representatives impeachment managers filed a 77-page Trial Memorandum Brief in support of the impeachment of Donald Trump. To read the brief, simply Google: house judiciary impeachment brief. I would implore all to read the brief and, if time permits, some of the 293 footnotes. After doing so, I think that you will find the facts of the case and legal arguments overwhelmingly document that the Senate has jurisdiction to try the impeachment and convict Donald Trump. I would also implore Senators Joni Ernst and Charles Grassley to set aside two to three hours to personally read and analyze the brief and selected footnotes rather than listen to the hyperbole of the likes of Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. If our two senators invest the time to carefully analyze the impeachment case, the applicable facts and overwhelming legal precedents, they will vote to convict Donald Trump of High Crimes and Misdemeanors and disqualify him from future federal office under Article I, Section 3, Paragraph 7 of the U.S. Constitution.
