EASTERN IOWA— Changes are coming to the WaMaC High School Athletic Conference as Grinnell, technically the Grinnell-Newberg Community School District, leaves the Little Hawkeye Conference and joins the WaMaC in the fall of 2023.

KEOKUK— The Muscatine Muskies slipped past the Williamsburg Raiders in a triangular swim meet on Jan. 11 at the Keokuk YMCA. Muscatine won the meet with 578 team points, the Raiders were second (562) and the host Chiefs finished third.

CORALVILLE— Senior Night for the Iowa City West High and Liberty High boys swim team ended in victory over Linn-Mar on Jan. 11 as the varsity reigned, 96-74.

EPWORTH— The Liberty High varsity girls improved to 7-4 with a 60-46 victory over Western Dubuque Jan. 11 in the Bobcats’ den.
