NORTH LIBERTY— The Liberty High varsity volleyball team clinched the Mississippi Valley Conference (MVC)’s Mississippi Division Championship with a perfect 7-0 conference record Tuesday, Oct. 5, after sweeping the Dubuque Wahlert Catholic Golden Eagles off the floor, at home, on Senior Night.

CORALVILLE — The Iowa City West High and Liberty High girls swimming and diving team had another big night Tuesday, Oct. 5, soaking the Linn-Mar Lions at the Coralville Rec. Center. The junior varsity (JV) Trojan-Bolts sank Linn-Mar 137-39 and the varsity won 136-50 after championing all events.

WATERLOO— The Liberty High cross country runners joined the rest of the Mississippi Valley Conference (MVC) Thursday, Oct. 7, at the Irv Warren Golf Course, in Waterloo, for the 2021 Conference Meet and placed fifth in team points (varsity boys) and seventh (varsity girls) in team points.
